Rob Allidine

Rob Allidine

Managing Director

Rob Allidine has been a frontrunner in the Meetings Incentives Exhibition and Conferences (MICE) industry in Ireland since 1995. Since then, he has pursued an entrepreneurial career in the dynamic event industry in Ireland by forming the ICI Conference and Event Management Group, later rebranded as Ovation Group. Rob has established a reputation as one of Irelands leading event professionals. Over the last twenty years, he has delivered many of Irelands leading and largest events, including Ireland’s largest corporate meeting with 6,000 attendees and Irelands largest conference. Rob prides himself on his ability to build and motivate sales and operational excellence within his team and is a true industry leader.

Marie Lawlor

Marie has an extensive 18 years of sales industry experience, having worked within the meetings and incentive market for 18 years in both the UK and Ireland. Marie started her career at the Royal Town Planning Institute in London, quickly progressing to Conference Manager, creating the annual conference series for the 35,000+ members of the RTPI. She decided to follow her family back to Ireland in 2000, where she moved into the incentive market and secured a role with Delaney Marketing (later rebranded as Ovation) within operations. Marie then became a proposal writer within the sales division of Ovation. In 2008 Marie took up the role of Head of Sales at The Convention Centre Dublin at construction stage. Marie spent 5 years at The Convention Centre Dublin, 2 years pre-opening and 3 years after its opening date in 2010.

Neil Redmond

Finance Director

After completing his degree in Business Studies, Neil started his career as an Accountant with HR Holfeld on the Stillorgan Road in 1989. While there, he studied at night for his CIMA qualification and in 1993 moved over to Boston, MA on a Green Card. While in Boston, he worked mainly in the IT Sector, returning to Dublin in 2000 after finishing up as Assistant Financial Controller in Programart Corporation in Cambridge MA. On his return to Ireland, he joined Avanti Corporation, another US Software company, as European Financial Controller and set up their Dublin office in Dun Laoghaire, as the Financial HQ for Europe. Neil then joined Ovation in 2003 as Finance Director, he managed the merger with MCI in 2007, and in 2012 also took on the HQ role of Group Procurement Director. Neil currently manages all Back Office functions at MCI Dublin, including Finance, Procurement, HR and IT.

Mark Berry joined MCI in 2006 after working in the hospitality industry for four years. Since joining the team, Mark has helped MCI clients to not only realize, but create their vision. Mark’s global contacts and expertise enable him to engage with and advise Irish and International companies at C-suite level on their event and employee/customer activation strategies. A passionate communicator and relationship builder, Mark’s expertise lies in his dedication to our clients and single minded determination to deliver stand out events.

Jack Healy

For the past 20 years Jack has worked as a senior Art Director in Sydney, Milan, London and Dublin for above the line advertising agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi,
Ogilvy & Mather and Havas. An international award winning art director, he is an honours degree student of the National College of Art & Design in Dublin.

At MCI Jack is passionate about brands and believes that ‘brand is king’. He is constantly exploring new ways in which we can get our clients to drive their brands forward with engaging,
memorable and entertaining live experiences. He is constantly on a mission to lift client’s profiles and increase their brand equity.
When not pushing the boundaries of visual communication, Jack is the frontman of renowned Irish band The Van Diemens.

Claire Courtney

Director of Operations

Claire Courtney has worked in MCI Dublin for over 10 years and has led our operational team since 2015. As our most experienced Project Manager, Claire also plays a hands-on role in our largest and most complex projects, bringing her many years of experience to bear, to create spectacular experiences in Ireland and all over the world.

Claire and her team of 15 Project Managers look after the full range of events from intimate private dinners and small board meetings to large international conferences hosted all over the world. A highly experienced project manager with unrivaled depth of experience, Claire is regarded as one of Ireland’s leading events experts.

Sigrid Luxen-Henry

Sigrid joined MCI in 2016 after pursuing a career in HR and Project Management in the financial services industry for 22 years. Originally from Germany, Sigrid started her career in PR & Marketing in a financial institution in Frankfurt. Due to her multilingual skills she was seconded to Dublin where she was an instrumental part of a project team setting up a new subsidiary and growing the staff base over time.

In 2001, she completed an MBA specializing in Human Resources Management. Sigrid is a well-rounded HR professional managing all aspects of HR for the 40-strong team at MCI in a stand-alone capacity and is committed to high standards of HR excellence

Ronan Coleman

As Director of Production, Ronan drives our team and our clients to apply innovative thinking and cutting edge design to maximize event impact and drive ROI. Ronan’s expertise in conceiving, planning and delivering excellent programmes is at the root of all we do.

His creative expression is reflected in production design, AV, lighting, sound, set, staging, theming, digital, media and entertainment, creating engaging content/concepts, with the goal of enabling you to build your community through live events. Ronan also undertakes the role of executive producer on many of our live events and has produced some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.

Ronan’s wealth of experience and creative touch is brought to all of our programmes, and to him nothing is impossible when we plan and implement live events and experiences

Ali Murphy

Ali started her career at MCI in 2009. She spent the first 5 years of her time running a medical association’s annual meeting in 10 destinations across Europe, and as far afield as Argentina and Egypt. Since then she has taken on larger world congresses, most notably a veterinary world congress in 2016, for which she won the Best International Marketing Initiative at the Irish Tourism Industry Awards 2017 and the Best Conference Award at the Event Industry Awards 2017. With experience across other industries such as IT, Legal and Social Development, Ali loves the challenge of managing large scientific programmes and budgets for world congresses.
